Description
Elvet Residences is a landmark purpose-built student accommodation scheme located in the heart of Durham City Centre, occupying the site of the historic former Three Tuns Hotel. The development sensitively combines the original Grade II listed 18th-century coaching inn with three purpose-built contemporary accommodation wings, together delivering 178 high-quality student bedrooms and amenity space. Following the acquisition of full operational control in 2025, an extensive six-figure enhancement programme was implemented across the asset. Works included the introduction of an industry-leading smart energy management system and the installation of air source heat pump technology, significantly improving the operational efficiency, sustainability credentials and long-term performance of the asset.
