Ward Group Investments expands industrial portfolio with Bowburn acquisition
Ward Group Investments has acquired four industrial buildings at Bowburn North Industrial Estate in County Durham.
The portfolio provides more than 200,000 sq ft of industrial and workspace accommodation in a strategically located position next to the A1(M) and close to Integra 61. Three of the four buildings were already occupied at the time of acquisition, with the remaining unit presenting an opportunity for refurbishment and reletting.
The acquisition strengthens Ward Group Investments’ growing industrial portfolio and reflects its continued confidence in County Durham as a location for logistics and commercial investment.
The Bowburn acquisition formed part of a wider period of growth for Ward Group, which at the time had built an investment portfolio valued at more than £100m across industrial, retail, office, leisure and student accommodation assets in the UK and UAE.
