The business was established in the early 2000’s by Chairman and shareholder, Andrew Ward. The acquisitive nature of the company is focused on building a high quality and diverse property portfolio. Our investment portfolio is currently worth in excess of £150 million, is very lowly geared, and expected to grow rapidly using our own substantial cash reserves.
The company has a number of flagship developments underway for example a student residential project, The Three Tuns, valued at £28m and offering a 194 bedroom new build in Durham City. Many other retail, leisure, office and industrial projects, based in Durham City and Newcastle Upon Tyne, are under development or completed.
Ward Group Investments is a wholly owned private investment company, with no outside investors, who are agile and active in almost every sector of the property market including leisure, retail, office, student residential and industrial.
